In this challenging role you are responsible for handling of tasks in the field of stationary and dynamic reactive power (such as MSCDN, Synchronous Condensers or STATCOM systems) with the main focus on:

  • Developing technical specifications and decision templates;
  • Preparation of tender documents, evaluation of quotation documents and assist during technical negotiations;
  • Monitoring quality during the project and operating phase;
  • Defining and promoting best practice in all life cycle phases ofFACTS-system;
  • Support of investment planning;
  • Initiation and support of scientific studies to determine system and component behaviour;
  • Participation in national and international committees/associations;
  • Actively contribute to a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and external contractors.
  • Your profile and background

  • Successfully completed a Master degree within energy, electrical engineering or comparable;
  • Several years of experience in the field of FACTS-Technology;
  • Being able to make high impact decisions within your division;
  • Fluent in Dutch and in English. Both verbally and written;
  • Confident and strong communicational skills;
  • Flexible attitude and a team player;
  • Willingness to travel (driving license B).
