For our Purchasing team in Arnhem , we are looking for a

Purchaser

Working as a Purchaser at Teijin means.

A salary between € 4800 en € 7500 gross per month (excluding holiday allowance á 8.33%);

A green and development budget of € 1500 gross each;

46 vacation days;

Possibility of hybrid working, with a home working allowance.

Our team
As a ( Senior) Purchaser , you will work with 25 driven fellow procurement professionals. The purchasing department has a diverse portfolio, such as HR services, raw materials, utilities, technical materials and converters. 
You will report to the Spend Manager Purchasing. Your location is Arnhem. 

Your role
Together with your colleagues, you will build on the further professionalization of the global purchasing function and the department. You are responsible for drawing up and implementing purchasing strategies and results for our purchasing categories in a complex environment. You get energy from preparing market and product analyses and prepare reports. You improve processes and have a supporting and advisory role to colleagues.

In this challenging position, we not only offer an opportunity to work with an extensive procurement portfolio, but also to grow into perhaps a leadership role as Spend Manager in the future. 

Your tasks include:

Drawing up market and product analyses;

Drawing up purchasing plans and objectives for the own categories;

Leading and/or directing multidisciplinary projects;

Determining direction for own categories in terms of sourcing strategy, savings objectives and product, quality and service level optimization;

Carrying out risk assessments together with internal stakeholders.

Your profile

Ideally, our candidate has a completed technical or commercial bachelor or university level, with the following competencies:
Driven, analytically strong and proactive and:

At least 3 years of experience as a buyer;

You are a critical thinker and dare to challenge;

Good command of stakeholder and strategic supplier management;

You are a team player;

You are ambitious, show proactive behavior and are results-oriented;

You are flexible and customer focused;

You are able to see the bigger picture without losing sight of the relevant details;

You have strong analytical and planning & organizational skills;

You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English (Dutch and German in addition is favorable).
