    The Project Lead is a project management role with a strongfocus on Logistics. You are responsible for project logistics management; plan,implement, and control the efficient forward and reverse flow and storage ofgoods, services, and related information. You oversee the planning,implementation, and tracking of logistics projects to ensure they finish ontime, remain within budget and meet quality standards. You are expected tocontinue actively doing project management work and ultimately ensuresuccessful end-to-end management of all store development projects.

    Responsibilities and essential job functionsinclude, but are not limited to the following:

    Project Management:

  • ProjectMaster Data Setup; e.g. the setup of projects, parties and articles.
  • Performsimple analysis as required on performance metrics, costs and other areas asrequired to improve best practices.
  • Managingproject milestones in Tract; adding budgets on % – historic information
  • Ensuringall purchase invoices are paid and that sales invoices have been created andsent to the customer. If so, shipments in Tract need to be closed by theFinance Team
  • CreateProject KPI dashboards and evaluate with key stakeholders
  • OS&D Claims
  • SupportOperational Process Reviews (internal/external) for continuous improvement.
  • ProjectKick-off with all Stakeholders
  • BudgetingProcess; creating budgets and monitoring if the budget is not exceeded
  • ProjectManagement Reporting, Missing Milestones Reporting (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • WeeklyInternal Meeting to check for opportunities/developments
  • Monitorproject deliverables
  • Placingfinal mile order and manage pick-up and delivery milestones respectively so thedocuments can be printed by the FOC and the pickup can be scheduled with thecarrier
  • OrderPlacement in CrossDock ++
  • ProjectClose-out
  • Serve asprimary point of contact for all project management related issues on allassigned projects between customer, suppliers, site supervisors, transportationteam and the Control Tower team.
  • Developand suggest process and system solutions in the interest of continuousimprovement
  • Monitoringbudgets during the project and after project close out (Budget Control).Escalation to Customer when costs exceed budget.
  • Effectivelyplanning and coordination of all shipments of the project.

  • Qualifications:

    This is a mid-level, fast paced, project management position. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a broad understanding and experience in operational task, systemknowledge and project management and have a logistics background.

    Educational level:

  • Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent experience required.
  • MBA orMaster in Supply Chain Operations Management preferred
  • Prince2or PMP
  • 4-5 yearsprofessional work experience preferred in Logistics
  • 1-2 yearsinternational experience desired, else clear demonstration of knowledge neededto operate in global markets.
  • 2-3 yearsof project management experience strongly preferred.
