Your contribution to TenneT
- Prioritization and Roadmap Management: You will prioritize activities, manage the long-term product vision, and own the product roadmap. This includes developing cases, assessing value, and prioritizing stories, epics, and themes to ensure that work focuses on areas with maximum value. You will also manage backlogs (e.g., Jira), and define prioritized backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the DevOps team.
- Stakeholder and Network Management: You will engage in stakeholder management, acting as a spokesperson for various product and data management needs. This involves representing the team in front of stakeholders and clients and acting as an ambassador for the data products. You will be responsible for managing expectations and ensuring that stakeholders are informed and aligned with the activities.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders during the visioning and concept development phases. You will also be involved in bringing in new projects, supporting the digitalization strategy, and driving the energy transition forward. Additionally, you will plan for needed skills and future capacity needed to meet the evolving demands.
- Agile and Lean Methodologies: Increase understanding and application of Agile practices, Lean Startup principles, and new technology opportunities. You will ensure that the team is informed and up to date on these methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Your profile and background
- Educational Background: You possess an academic working and thinking level, supported by a relevant university degree in fields such as information technology, electrical engineering, business information technology or related fields. Additionally, you may have a comparable qualification with profound experience in relevant domains.
- Experience and Expertise: You have a deep understanding and experience with Agile/Lean methodologies, as well as working in the data domain. Your background includes professional stakeholder and project management, with a proven track record in managing product roadmaps and defining minimum marketable features and minimum viable products growing them to full products.
- Skills and Competencies: You are a creative and strategic thinker with a strong affinity for product management. You have outstanding communication skills and work independently, are a self-starter, and you can work effectively in a team. Your organizational and time management skills are exemplary, along with your analytical and problem-solving abilities, which are characterized by a keen attention to detail.
- Technical Acumen: You have an overall understanding of the technologies used in data products (cloud experience is a plus) and can define and communicate the data product needs effectively.
- Language and Communication: Strong communication skills in English are essential, enabling you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and international stakeholders (Dutch and German are a plus). Your ability to connect with team members and customers is a key component of your role.
