In this role you Bring knowledge and have an inspirational and result driven mindset, delivering the best quality of our work by working transparent, with ambition, focus on continuous improvement and effective cooperation within ‘your’ ART. You are responsible for creating, overseeing, and ensuring adherence to the ART’s budget, priorities, quality and results. As portfolio manager you break the product vision down into concrete epic’s, features and stories. Check and guard quality of solutions & scope during the implementation provided by the teams and the combination of teams. We contribute to the energy transition, for everyone, with everyone. And as portfolio manager, you can take your part in this transition. Your role involves:

  • Cooperating closely and align with the Product Manager, Epic Owners, Product Owners and Delivery masters, steer the teams and the ART during development stage and towards Quarterly Change in priority, quality and results
  • Managing the backlog, in combination with all the events like refinement, prioritization etc. and have a clear overview of impediments, understand the business impact, identify risks, challenges and propose solutions
  • Ensuring effective meetings, take decisions in who’s attending when in a physical meeting
  • Setting up reviews and inspections for Definition of Ready & Done, define clear goals and deadlines and are responsible for achieving those
  • Preparing and maintain roadmaps e.g. for the Quarterly Change, focusing on content preparation and refinement, especially for the quarterly goals.
  • Preparing, facilitating and evaluating ART events and establishing a culture of ownership and accountability, empowering individuals to proactively address challenges and ensure the timely and high-quality delivery

  • At lease a bachelor’s degree and relevant certificates; PSM1/SSM/SAFe for example.
  • Strong communication skills, you dare to speak out, take or push decisions while focussing on results, continuous improvement, making deadlines and delivering on the highest level of quality. With an Agile mindset you contribute to the changes within Alliander and System Operations.
  • Minimal 7 years of experience in a comparable role in a large organisation within a scaled technical agile environment
  • A result driven mindset with focus on performance and continuous improvement, not afraid making important decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, a real connector within several levels of the organisation

    Based on a 38-hour working week, you will receive:

  • a gross monthly salary of € 5200 to € 7500;
    based on a full-time working week;
  • an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% of your gross annual salary if your work full time. This includes 5.2% ADV (shorter working hours) and 8% holiday allowance. If you do not work full time, you are not entitled to ADV and you receive 12.8% IKB budget (which includes 8% holiday allowance). You can use your personal budget for purchasing extra days off or have it paid every month as extra salary. In December you’ll receive an end-of-year bonus of 5.94% of your gross annual salary.
  • the possibility to work from home;
  • an ABP pension of which Alliander pays 70%.
