Your contribution to TenneT
The Maintenance Onshore (M-ON) department in the performance unit Asset Management Tennet is involved in long- and medium-term risk mitigation in TenneT’s high-voltage grid with the aim of guaranteeing security of supply and safety. The department gives direction to the technical implementation of maintenance activities and the right follow-up activities. In addition, the team is responsible for monitoring the condition of the assets and defining solutions for bottlenecks in the grid that arise due to age.
As a Maintenance Strategist Secondary Systems you will manage a challenging and diverse package and you will work in the M-ON team of 17 colleagues. Together with these colleagues your responsibility is to ensure that the network is optimally maintained and that the risks of the high-voltage grid are managed. This role focuses specifically on secondary / protection equipment. You will look for creative and innovative ways to mitigate these risks in the long term. In this position you will determine the high maintenance strategy and research data-driven and innovative solutions for this.
Your activities:
Your profile and background
·Bachelor or Master degree and preferably in the direction of Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering;
·5 to 7 years of relevant work experience and experience with secondary component;
·You are analytically strong, aware of the environment and have good judgement;
·Able to ‘build bridges’ between different internal departments and external parties;
·You are enterprising; you are expected to take responsibility for what needs to be done;
·Communicative and socially you’re very skilled, you have the right amount of tact and you have a personal upper hand.
·Excellent command of the English language in word and writing for the preparation of advisory documents.
