who are you

As a Logistics administrator you bring a blend of administrative and computer skills to the table. These skills allow you to keep track of the logistics process efficiently. You’re quick to grasp new tasks and collaborate effectively with your team members. Being part of an international organization, proficiency in English is essential, and proficiency in Portuguese is a plus, in addition to Dutch.

  • you have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
  • you are accurate, flexible, administratively strong, resilient, and results-oriented;
  • you have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.

what will you do

Your role involves a wide range of tasks, including liaising with various departments within the company. As an administrative staff member, you ensure that import and export documentation is accurate for your clients, while adhering to legal and internal regulations and policies. You also oversee the performance of various warehouses and transport companies regarding incoming and outgoing goods. Keeping a watchful eye on logistics planning is a significant part of your responsibilities. You will also ensure that all administrative tasks are executed correctly.

  • monitoring import and export processes in compliance with national and international regulations;
  • assisting in planning shipments and inventory levels;
  • preparing documentation for import and export processes;
  • meeting deadlines for closing the accounts and recording import and export processes accurately;
  • approving and verifying payments to freight carriers, customs fees, port charges, taxes, and other services.

You will work for a leading Brazilian multinational specializing in the development and production of high-quality structural components made of cast iron. The company provides engineering solutions used in various sectors, including transportation, infrastructure, agribusiness, and energy generation. These solutions contribute to improving the quality of life by providing access to healthcare, basic sanitation, clean water, food production, distribution, and global trade.

Production facilities are concentrated in Brazilian cities such as Betim, Joinville, and Mauá, as well as internationally in Aveiro (Portugal), Saltillo, and Ramos Arizpe (Mexico). Additionally, the company has commercial offices in Brazil, Germany, Italy, the United States, and the Netherlands.
