Responsibilities:
Manage engineering projects and technical activities at the site, including NPD implementation support, VAVE initiatives, cost‑saving projects, and continuous process improvement.
Plan and execute improvements in manufacturing technologies and processes to ensure competitiveness and alignment with company strategy.
Implement new technologies within sourcing and production strategies, and oversee new equipment development from supplier scouting to production release.
Ensure effective collaboration between Production, Manufacturing R&D, and other key functions on all engineering‑related topics; contribute to the plant’s technology roadmap and innovation pipeline.
Advise the SEO and site leadership on HSE obligations and legal requirements, ensuring implementation of internal HSE standards and programs.
Coordinate and monitor HSE measures; conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and shopfloor inspections of processes and machinery.
Manage incident and near‑miss handling, including root‑cause analysis and timely reporting; deliver safety training and continuously improve the site’s HSE management system.
Implement and maintain relevant management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001) as applicable to the site’s production or converting activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s (min) or Master’s (preferred) in Engineering/Science; experience in engineering projects and basic project management.
Strong problem-solving, prioritization, communication and presentation skills; hands-on shopfloor leadership and intercultural collaboration.
Fluent English and good command of the local site language.
HSE knowledge with relevant education/certification according to local authority requirements; ideally 5+ years of HSE practice (or equivalent training/experience)
