Director of IT Operations & Infrastructure
Arnhem (Hybrid – 3 days a week office-based
€150,000 plus 15% bonus
We’re partnering with a global consumer products organisation undergoing a major digital and technology transformation, and we’re looking for an experienced Director of IT Operations & Infrastructure to help shape and lead that journey. Following a major acquisition a few years back, they are now embarking on a major integration project to unify their household brands under one Infra/cloud system.
This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a modern, globally aligned IT Operations & Infrastructure function within a complex international business operating across Europe, North America, and Asia.
They're moving from fragmented local IT operations to a unified global technology model—standardising infrastructure, cloud platforms, collaboration tooling, ITSM, security operations, and vendor management to build a scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient technology foundation.
Key areas of focus include:
✔ Building and leading a global IT Operations & Infrastructure organisation
✔ Driving cloud and infrastructure consolidation programmes
✔ Standardising ITSM practices and operational governance
✔ Improving resilience, service quality, security, and operational maturity
✔ Leading cost optimisation and vendor consolidation initiatives
✔ Supporting large-scale ERP and digital transformation programmes
✔ Creating a modern, scalable “One Infrastructure” operating model
We’re looking for someone who brings:
10+ years of leadership experience across IT Operations / Infrastructure
Strong cloud, networking, workplace, and security expertise
Experience operating within large, global, multi-brand organisations
Proven success leading transformation, consolidation, and post-M&A integration initiatives
Deep understanding of ITSM, operational excellence, and service delivery
Strong commercial awareness, budgeting, and vendor management capabilities
A pragmatic, calm, and highly collaborative leadership style
This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing operational stability with transformation and who can influence across both local and global stakeholder groups.
