Contract Manager (m/w/d) 2-GW offshore – TenneT – Arnhem

Your contribution to TenneT

The Contract Manager is an active and engaged team member in support of both Project Leads and a trusted advisor to the Project Director(s)

Set common Goals with the contractor(s)

Create an open culture with the contractor

Address mutual risks, ensure flexibility and feasibility for the contractor while adhering to TenneT’s requirements and standards

Support the project team and Procurement in defining contracting strategy and advise / execute MEAT criteria

If necessary: support of processing and enforcement of counterclaims / own claims

Participation in the drafting of the contract, examination of contracts / specifications * and support of contract negotiations

Coordination and alignment with the other contract managers

Ensuring the uniform interpretation of contractual clauses and treatment of claims and implementation of lessons learned from other projects

Regular reporting to the responsible overall project managers (PD / FPD)

Support of project management and purchasing for contractual issues and correspondence (externally as well as internally)

Interface to the Asset Management, Claim Management, Supply Chain Management and the Legal Department

Support the team on contractual issues, risk and opportunities and assistance in the identification, capture, analysis and tracking of project risks

Your profile and background

Minimum 4 years experiences as Contract Manager for major construction projects

Preferably experience in offshore business

First experiences with FIDIC yellow or silver book (EPC approach)

Legal and/or Commercial and/or Technical background / university degree

Open and transparent (to-the-point) in the communication

Willing to travel

Pro-active

Accurate

Supply Chain Management supports TenneT’s activities by determining which goods and services are required to realize projects and maintenance work. We also structure and cover these needs. We serve TenneT’s internal customers and ensures better cooperation with our external suppliers.
