I am hiring for Cloud Enablement Manager for my client in the Netherlands. This is initially a year contract with possible extension.

Required Skills:

We are looking for a dedicated Cloud Enablement Manager. In this role, you will lead the Enablement Team (10-15 FTE) and ensure an efficient, well-structured working environment that supports the cloud migration. You will work closely with Cloud Architects, Service Managers, and other stakeholders to successfully transition to a cloud-based platform.

Challenges of This Role:

The organization is undergoing a large-scale cloud migration program. This involves transitioning to a cloud platform and requires close coordination between business and technical stakeholders. The Enablement Lead Cloud Services plays a crucial role in orchestrating this transition by ensuring tools, knowledge, personnel, and workflows are in place. The migration must be completed by the end of the year.

The main tasks:

  • You oversee the Enablement Team (10-15 FTE) on a daily basis, ensuring team cohesion and alignment with organizational goals;
  • You provide leadership and functional guidance to a cross-border team of experts, collaborating closely with Cloud Architects and Service Managers;
  • You establish and maintain clear operational processes and team structures;
  • You ensure seamless alignment with initiatives and customer onboarding to the MCP Service (Public Cloud);
  • You translate organizational demand into actionable EPICs and support backlog management;
  • You monitor demand planning and ensure timely availability of MCP Services;
  • You proactively identify and mitigate risks affecting the Enablement Team’s work;
  • You build and maintain stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment between cloud strategies and business objectives;
  • You support talent development by mentoring and providing training opportunities.

Your profile:

  • You have a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in complex technological environments, such as cloud migration programs. This is a must;
  • You have proven leadership experience within IT, with an emphasis on cloud services. This is a must;
  • You have the ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team across international borders;
  • You possess strong stakeholder management skills and can communicate effectively at all organizational levels;
  • You have a solid understanding of agile methodologies and leadership;
  • You have a hands-on mentality with strong organizational skills;
  • You are able to align technical solutions with strategic business objectives;
  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, preferably with additional business management or leadership qualifications;
  • You have excellent proficiency in Dutch and English; German is a plus;
