Overview
As a policy advisor, you will be the point of contact for colleagues working on the heat transition, overseeing various projects and collaborating with municipal and external partners to realize sustainable heating solutions for Zutphen.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and support projects including the Heat Program, Componistenbuurt Heat Network, GAZZ, Noordveen, Zeeheldenbuurt, mini heat networks pilot, and Zutphen Heating Company.
- Participate in project teams, prepare decision-making documents, and advise on policy input.
- Engage with stakeholders, facilitate participatory processes, and support project decision-making, including final investment decisions.
Work Schedule
Workdays are Monday to Friday. Hybrid working is not possible.

Requirements
- Completed HBO bachelor’s degree.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in heat transition policy advising within a municipality in the last 3 years.
- Proficiency in using your own device (BYOD).
- Demonstrable skills in connecting with external partners, policy advising, and project management related to heat transition.
- Strong communication, political sensitivity, and proactive attitude.
Additional Information
Applicants will need to provide a VOG and be registered as a personnel provider if applicable. The role is temporary, and the seniority level is entry-level.
